Living Trails 2010

Ekopolis Foundation and Toyota open the 3th year of the grant program Living Trails. NGOs and non-formal inhabitants groups can obtaine the financial support of 5,000 euro for the improvement of nature conservation in national parks and protected areas. The program also supports more effective communication of their values and higher involvement of the public and volunteers in the renewal of the protected areas.


The deadline is January, 28, 2010.

Living Trails - this program was launched in 2007. It supports the improvement of conditions for hiking and learning about land and nature. It supports the improvement of nature conservation in national parks, more effective communication of their values and higher involvement of the public and volunteers in the renewal of damaged areas and forest conservation.


Supported activities:

  • Development / reconstruction of tourist trails or public spaces that are used by tourists (ground shaping, soil stabilization, small constructions, infrastructure etc.)
  • Renewal of trail marking
  • Information boards located at points frequently passed by tourists with a short description of the trail or locality, a map, supporters, etc.
  • Opening ceremonies
