Living Energy Fund supports ideas of effective energy usage

Last year there were supported 8 projects by 56,771 Euros from Living Energy Fund. The donors are ZSE Energia, S.C. in cooperation with Ekopolis Foundation. This year there is planned to support the projects which contribuate to the energy efficiency development and to education in this field. In 2010 there will be provided 63,000 Euros from the fund.

Deadline is April, 30, 2010.

Living Energy Fund is financed from the sale of the ZSE Energia, S.C. product, which could be bought by the customers in the following weeks. From each sold MWh in the Living Energy product ZSE Energia, S.C. will contribute to the Living Energy Fund by 3.30 Euros.

Eligible applicants are NGOs, municipalities, schools, educational institutions, social welfare establishments, rest homes, scientific institutions, free-time centers, community centers depending on the priorities. The Living Energy Fund sources cannot be used for commercial purposes.

The  projects will be chosen in open competition in 2010 as well. The basic condition of the support is the community character of the projects. The fund will support the projects in an amount of 63,000 Euros, which is 11 % more than it was in 2009. Supported projects should be realized by the end of November 2011.
