Ekopolis Foundation opens educational course of public spaces planning

As a part of UrbSpace project supported by Central Europe Program and financed by ERDF Ekopolis Foundation prepared the educational course „Involment of public into public spaces planning and creation."
The course consists of 2 parts:

„Participation and public spaces" - public participation in decision making (May, 25 and 26, 2010) and „Facilitation and

moderating of meetings" (June, 10 and 11, 2010 Banská Bystrica).


People interested in public spaces with an ambition to use the public planning instruments, to plan, and to facilitate planning meetings and work with public in different phases of public spaces creation are the target group of the course.


The participants will be chosen by Ekopolis Foundation on the basis of applications and letters of motivation.


There will be considered the geographical criteria (the area of Slovakia), interest in the topic, opportunity and preparation to use the knowledge in the practice and preliminary work in planning and creation of public spaces. 


The participation in course is for free. The lectors, rent, and refreshment are provided by Ekopolis Foundation.

The participants will cover accomondation and travel costs.
