In France about mobility

Increasing of cycling conditions and transport, decreasing of number of cars in towns, public transport systems, sharing cars and efficiency of their rides and other interesting topics were the subject of study tour of EPSD deputies, whose member is also Ekopolis Foundation, to French town Chambéry in Savoy Alps in the beginning of May.

Ekopolis Foundation was represented by Jan Rohac, a program manager of Greenways and Cyclists welcome!

The main objective of the tour was the acknowledgment of mobility plans, e.g. plans for decreasing of cars number necessary for the transport to the town or to work. France is quite sophisticated in this area and can be inspiration for many Slovak towns.
