New facilitators for public spaces planning were being trained in Banská Bystrica

On June, 10 and 11, 2010 there was organized the second part of educational training „Public involvement into public spaces planning and creation" by Ekopolis Foundation. The training was organized as a part of UrbSpace project financed by Central Europe Program and ERDF.

The second block entitled „Facilitation and public meetings management" was focused on facilitation of public meetings, especially in the field of public spaces planning. Almost 25 participants from the whole Slovakia took part in it.The participants were trained by lectors from PDCS - Partners for Democratic Change.

The training was determined for the people interested in public spaces, with the ambition to use the tools of participatory planning properly, to prepare and take part in planning meetings or to work with the public in any step of public spaces creation.
