There was opened an educational trail from Svit to Lopušná Valley

On July, 25, there was opened an educational trail from Svit to Lapušná Valley. The trail is 4 km long and it was reconstructed and opened for the tourists thanks to the financal support of 3800 € from Green Belt 2010 grant program. This program was opened by Ekopolis Foundation and SLOVNAFT, S.C.. Project was realized by non formal inhabinants group.

" There were built a gate, which welcomes the visitors and 5 stops with educational boards in Slovak and English languages. The path was remarked and there were renewed the benches near the path. The visitors can find the information on the web page www.prbaba.sk", explained Michal Machala, a leader of non-formal group.

On the informational boards the visitors can find interesting information about fauna, flora and geological rock bed and check the information in the nature.

During the walk it is possible to admire the rare plants. The stay in the nature is pleasant because of the song of the birds and from time to time because of the occurrance of squirell or red deer.

This trail is not difficult, it is addressed to all age categories. It can serve to the pupils for education in the nature, to the families for the walking with children, but also to everybody, who loves nature and would like to do something for his health. I wish a lot of nice time spend on this trail, said Mr.

Machala.

The project was supported by Block Grant EMVO - TUR.
