Goal of the Program

   The goal of the Living Energy Fund is the support of the projects, which contribute for an utilization of the renewable energy sources and for a development of effective and rational energy usage, support of the extension service and RandD.

Supported activities

The program consists of the 2 parts:

1. Support of invested projects
2. Education and awaraness increasing for energy saving and renewable energy sources, activities of the ecocenters, courses and seminars

Invested program priorities:

• building and installation of new sources, using renewable energy sources, their reconstruction and tuning
• reconstruction of the equipment using renewable sources and fossil fuels
• measures for energy saving

Non-invested program priorities

• education and increasing of awareness about energy saving, edifying programs for schools and public, ecocenters activities, courses and workshops
• community projects - environmental protection, public spaces and greenary revitalisation, greenary planting

How big can be a grant

• Support of the invested projects - 7 000 EUR
• Education and awareness increasing - 1 500 EUR

Eligible applicants

- NGOs, municipalities, schools, educational institutions, social welfare establishments, rest homes, RandD positions,

free-time centers, community centers

Criteria

• provable public character and community contribution
• correspondence with supported activities
• intelectual, materiel and financial contribution of diffrent partners - NGOs, schools, municipalities, entrepreneurs
• identificable impact on energy saving
• effectivity of the measures
• volunteers participation
• long-term maintenance
• applicability of the proposed activities
• legislative correspondence and correspondence with relevant documents on local, regional and national level
