Florence +10

The international conference within the CEE region is organized at the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the European Landscape Convention opening for signature (Florence, 2000), implementation of European Landscape Convention and successful realization of UrbSpace project supported from Central Europe Program and financed by European Regional and Development Fund.

The main objective of the conference is to increase awareness of NGOs and regional authorities, as ones of the key players, about the principles of the European Landscape Convention connection with urban and peri-urban landscape and urban environment.

Dissemination of information on landscape protection, planning and management will be another goal. The special emphasis will be put on the urban landscape management and initiation of a new cooperation among the different stakeholders which need to be involved to improve the implementation process of the convention in CEE countries.
